Why Move to Grants Pass?

Well, the short answer is “It’s the Climate”. Grants Pass is a wonderful community to raise a family or retire. We enjoy moderate weather year-round and get to experience all four of the traditional seasons including the occasional 3-6 inches of snow in Winter and a week or two of hotter days in the August. And no matter what the weather does, the valley wears all seasons with incredible beauty. The city of Grants Pass encourages community and has all the features of a small, home town while allowing for growth throughout the surrounding areas. Old historic downtown is centered around “G” Street and is home to many enjoyable local events throughout the year. Friday Night Art Walk, tap rooms, a wide variety of food options and local shopping, and the Saturday Growers Market to name a few. We have hiking trails, walking paths, the amazing Rogue River, Oregon Caves, and the beach and Crater Lake are 1.5 hours away. There is so much to do here for a family or individual and it is also a great place to retire! It is approximately 45 minutes from Jacksonville and Ashland which are home of the fine arts including the Britt Festival and the Shakespearean Theater. We have lush countryside, a myriad of award winning wineries, local community events including the annual Art Along the Rogue, Winter Fest, Bear Fest, Back to the Fifties Car Show, Boatnick boat races, horse races and more! And, in your new custom home on one of these amazing properties, you can have seclusion and peace with the ease of a short drive to any number of amazing activities to suit your unique interests!
